YULI GUSMAN TURNING 60

People’s Artist of Azerbaijan, Honored Artist of Russia Yuli Gusman is turning his 60 on August 8. He celebrates his birthday on the stage working on his new film.

Although Y. Gusman graduated from the Azerbaijan State Medical Institute, he dedicated most of his life to the art. He passed scriptwriters and director courses of the USSR State Cinematograph Committee. During that period, he shot some films and produced several musicals that had been demonstrated in Russia, Azerbaijan, USA, China and Japan. For 16 years, he has been managing the Russian National Cinematograph Academy, which he established himself. In the mid-1990s, he has been Deputy of the Russian State Duma. Being one of the founders of the well-known show KVN, now, he is one of the jury members of it.
