Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis meets with Speaker of Kazakhstan’s Qurultay

As part of her visit to Kyrgyzstan, Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis, met with Aibek Dadebay, Speaker of Kazakhstan’s Qurultay.
Aibek Dadebay thanked Sahiba Gafarova for congratulating him on his election as Speaker of the Qurultay.
The sides highlighted the strong friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, noting that the strategic partnership and allied relations between the two countries continue to develop. They also emphasized the significant role played by the heads of state in advancing bilateral relations, noting that their joint efforts had helped expand cooperation across various areas. The sides stressed the importance of cooperation between the two parliaments within the framework of TURKPA.
Aibek Dadebay noted Kazakhstan’s interest in further developing relations with Azerbaijan’s parliament. He also emphasized the importance of expanding interparliamentary cooperation both bilaterally and within international organizations.
Sahiba Gafarova stated that relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan were rooted in shared history, cultural and spiritual values, and strong bonds of brotherhood between their peoples. She noted that the friendly relations between the heads of state contributed significantly to strengthening ties between the two countries.
The Azerbaijani Speaker once again congratulated Aibek Dadebay on his election as Speaker of the Qurultay and expressed her readiness to work together to further strengthen interparliamentary cooperation.
